The Video Compressor uses x264, the H.264 encoder from VideoLAN, compiled to WebAssembly with Emscripten. x264 is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or (at your option) any later version. You may use, study, change and share it under that licence.

The source code. The program that runs in your browser is built from:

• x264 itself, unmodified, commit c24e06c2e184345ceb33eb20a15d1024d9fd3497 (code.videolan.org/videolan/x264, mirror github.com/mirror/x264);
• our small wrapper, pt_x264.c, released under the same licence;
• the exact build commands, build_x264.sh (Emscripten 3.1.74, x264 configured with --disable-asm --disable-thread --bit-depth=8).

The compiled module is the file x264.wasm next to the video page. If you want the source on another medium, write to services@bnds.io and we will send it.

El Compresor de vídeo usa x264, el codificador H.264 de VideoLAN, compilado a WebAssembly con Emscripten. x264 es software libre bajo la Licencia Pública General de GNU, versión 2 o (a tu elección) cualquier versión posterior. Puedes usarlo, estudiarlo, modificarlo y compartirlo bajo esa licencia.

El código fuente. El programa que se ejecuta en tu navegador se construye con:

• x264, sin modificar, commit c24e06c2e184345ceb33eb20a15d1024d9fd3497 (code.videolan.org/videolan/x264, espejo github.com/mirror/x264);
• nuestro pequeño envoltorio, pt_x264.c, publicado con la misma licencia;
• los comandos exactos de compilación, build_x264.sh (Emscripten 3.1.74, x264 configurado con --disable-asm --disable-thread --bit-depth=8).

El módulo compilado es el archivo x264.wasm junto a la página de vídeo. Si quieres el código en otro soporte, escribe a services@bnds.io y te lo enviamos.
