1. Paste your JSON. Copy it from an API response, a config file or a log and paste it into the box.
2. Press Format or Minify. Format adds indentation so it is easy to read; Minify removes all spaces to make it as small as possible for sending or storing.
3. Fix any error. If the JSON is invalid you get the line and column and the exact spot highlighted, instead of a vague "unexpected token". "Fix common errors" repairs the usual culprits for you.

Everything runs in your browser using the same parser your code uses, so a result of "Valid JSON" here means JSON.parse accepts it too. Large files of several megabytes work, but very large inputs can take a moment because the browser has to parse them on your device.

Todo funciona en tu navegador con el mismo analizador que usa tu código, así que un "JSON válido" aquí significa que JSON.parse también lo acepta. Los archivos de varios megas funcionan, pero entradas muy grandes pueden tardar un momento porque el navegador las analiza en tu dispositivo.

The "Fix common errors" button removes comments and trailing commas, converts single quotes to double quotes, quotes bare keys and turns True, False and None into valid values. It is a quick helper for copy-pasted snippets: always read the result before you rely on it.

API responses and config files often contain tokens, emails, internal URLs or customer records. Many online formatters send what you paste to their servers. This one does not: the text is parsed by your browser and discarded when you close the tab, so it is safe to use with real data. Nothing is logged, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.

Developers also use the formatter to read minified responses, to prepare readable examples for documentation and to clean up data before committing it to a repository. Download the result as a .json file when you are done.

Tip: sort keys alphabetically before comparing two JSON files in a diff tool. The data is identical, but the stable key order removes noise from the comparison.
